These unique varieties are commonly known as Fancy, Exotic, or Hybrid Tropical Hibiscus and are prized for their complex colors and structures. While they require careful and attentive cultivation, they are a rewarding choice.
- πΈ 'Whipped Cream' is a hybrid of the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis species. Large, classic single blooms up to 9 " across classic with slightly rippled petals of translucent creamy white a well-formed ruby red eye inspired the name 'Whipped Cream' and are borne on a sturdy, upright plant that does not require grafting. Bloom color and form are variable and affected by weather and maturity. It has a resilient root system, but is best grown as a well-tended potted plant.
